An ususual experiment goes beyond the pale in this case of the Saber Tooth Rabbit.

Behold a first-ever dental implant utilizing actual DNA recovered from the long-extinct Smilodon. Now, the nefarious Dr. Deadly has cultured a pair of massive saber-like incisors and has grafted them into the dental plate of a common field rabbit. The result, however, is anything but common. But the doctor's "good work" may be all for naught due to post-operative complications that have caused the rabbit's body to wither and degrade. How can the doctor save his atrocious achievement?

Now, you can operate on your own Monster Scenes Saber Tooth Rabbit, the all-new all plastic assembly kit from Dencomm.

$16.98 each
(plus postage)

(Photo of actual kit, built and painted by Tory Mucaro. Glue and paint not included)

Designed by resident Monster Scenes artist Jim Craig in collaboration with renown sculptor Tony Cipriano, this Saber Tooth Rabbit fits perfectly within the Monster Scenes realm.

Each kit consists of 18 easy-to-assemble parts including a length of real iron chain. The Saber Tooth Rabbit measures 2" tall with a head that turns easily from side to side. Also included is the Cement Block, measuring 1 5/8" high, 2 1/4" wide, and 1 1/4" deep. After assembly, the Collar can be placed around the Saber Tooth Rabbit's neck, chaining the monstrosity to the stone block. You can place the Rabbit on the included detailed base or set it anywhere in Dr. Deadly's dungeon lair.

MIX 'EM AND MATCH 'EM -- Do even more with your Saber Tooth Rabbit kit when you mix and match parts with the Feral Cat kit (sold seperately). The creatures can share each other's accessories and can even be used for Dr. Deadly's bizarre head transplant procedure. It's frightfully good fun!

This is a Skill Level 2 (intermediate) kit intended for builders ages 13 to adult.

I'm really impressed - sculpting, molding, and packing are top notch.
